Craven & Thompson - 10:22 a.m. We just had a second attempted theft a few minutes ago at State Rd 84 bridge over I95. They broke the passenger side window, but got nothing, because the crew was using the instrument. The crew was doing a bench run over the bridge. Let's be careful out there and watch your trucks and staff.

9:57 a.m. We had an attempted theft a few minutes ago at NW 30th Ave & NW 42nd Court, west of Ft Laud-Hollywood International Airport in the Port 95 Commerce Park. They broke the drivers side window, but got nothing, because the crew was using the instrument. Alert your crews, they are out there watching and probably following you.

June 23, 2018 (Orlando)

"...Our crews had a GPS base station stolen this morning, working in Orlando near the intersection of Taft Vineland Road and Orange Blossom Trail. The base station was set up on the side of the road and the crew was a couple hundred feet away in the woods.

There seemed to be at least 2 thieves involved, as the crew heard some talking. They were driving a newer model Ford pickup in greenish-gray. The stolen unit was a Spectra Precision SP80, S/N 5746550086."
